Our 24 hour cancellation policy

We are a small business, and fill up fast! That’s why we have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so we’re counting on you to let us know in advance if you can’t make your appointment. When you book an appointment, we reserve that time exclusively for you. We kindly ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. This allows us to adjust our schedule accordingly and offer the open appointment to another client in need of our services.

In the event of a late cancel, less than 24 hours, or no-show, then you are responsible for the full cost of your session. If you arrive late, your session will be shortened and you are responsible for the full amount of the session scheduled. 

To cancel, change, or reschedule your appointment before the 24 hour notice period, please contact us by text at (518) 587-1661, email us at info@carollovelee.com, or go on-line with the link in your confirmation email. If for any reason a credit card refund is approved by us, your appointment fee minus a required 20% booking fee, will be returned by our card service provider. 

We understand that things happen, and we don’t want to add any extra stress to your already stressful life, so we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in order to ensure that your therapist is still compensated for the time that they set aside to dedicate specifically to you.

However, with every rule, there’s usually an exception — and we know that germs spread fast at any time of year, so for everyone’s safety, we want you to stay home if you’re sick! We will be glad to waive our cancellation fee if you let us know ASAP that you’re not feeling well. Trying to stave it off with over the counter meds or herbal teas, “hoping I’d feel better by now” and then calling last minute WILL result in a cancellation fee. But if you wake up, know you can’t make it in, and call or text right away, we’ll be glad to provide your appointment by zoom, or reschedule that appointment and waive the fee for you. (Believe me, we don’t want your germs either!)

Once you’re feeling better, let us know so we can assist you in rescheduling! Energy work is GREAT for boosting the immune system and getting rid of all those toxins that built up in your body when you were sick!

We do send out automated reminders by email or text (or both) depending on your preference, so you’ll get a reminder the day before your appointment. However, technology isn’t always 100% reliable so it is ultimately your responsibility to write down your appointment in your calendar and contact us if you need to cancel or reschedule! Ongoing Classes or Workshop Cancellation Policy

Ongoing Class: When you register for an ongoing class, over several weeks or months, you may attend in-person or by zoom if you are sick or away. We require 48 hours notice in order to receive a full refund before the beginning of the 1st class in the series. Once the series has started you are committed as a participate in the entire series. We provide notes and videos for all classes when the whole group is not present. We are not required to refund for missed classes since your spot in the class can not be filled after the series starts.  

Workshop Registration Cancellation: If you are unable to attend a workshop for which you have registered, we require 48 hours notice in order to receive a full refund. Please call us or visit your online to cancel your registration. Failure to do so 48 hours beforehand or not showing up at the workshop will waive your right to a refund. The workshop fee minus a required 20% booking fee will be returned by our card service provider. 

Inclement weather policy: Weather can get messy. Please make sure your phone is handy and your recent phone number is on file. We will call or email you concerning challenging weather to move either on-line or reschedule an appointment or class, or workshop.
